February 21, 2025 – Protocol Theory is excited to announce that Kyle Becker has joined the company as Head of UX Research & Strategy, further strengthening our mission to bring clarity to Web3 through evidence-based insights.
With over 12 years of global experience in UX strategy, research, and design, Kyle has worked at the intersection of product innovation and user behavior, helping teams build seamless, user-centered experiences. His career spans roles at frog design, J.P. Morgan’s “Onyx” blockchain division, CRADL, and most recently, the Crypto Council for Innovation (CCI)—the premier global alliance advancing crypto innovation.

UX Research is Key to Unlocking Web3 User Adoption
Kyle’s expertise lies in navigating the “fuzzy front end” of product development—conducting exploratory research across more than 10 countries and helping companies translate complex technologies into intuitive, high-impact digital experiences. At Protocol Theory, he will lead UX research initiatives that empower Web3 businesses to bridge the gap between adoption barriers and real user needs.
"Web3 has an undeniable adoption challenge—one that won’t be solved by better tech alone. To scale, it needs better user experiences. I’m excited to join Protocol Theory and help teams take a more human-centered, research-driven approach to building the future of Web3," said Kyle Becker.
Kyle has contributed extensively to UX research in crypto, including authoring "UX in Cryptocurrency: An Overview of User Experience in Cryptocurrency Applications" and "Onboarding to Cryptocurrency: What Actually Matters" through CRADL. His work has provided critical insights into the friction points that prevent mainstream adoption and has helped inform best practices for improving Web3 usability.
